Importing test results from QTP/UFT

One use we have is to track the execution results from our automated test tool, Unified Functional Testing (formally QTP). How can I import the results from the UFT exported results?

Hi Bret,

Thanks for writing in and sharing your query.

For your requirement you can configure remote executor to enable test automation for the Test Collab instance you are using.

This will get your tests automatically triggered as soon as they are assigned to a remote executor. Once the test execution finishes the test status that your automation tool returns would be recorded automatically in Test Collab and the results will also be fetched (imported) through the artifacts (files to collect) that have been configured.

You may refer our online user guide articles listed here - http://support.testcollab.com/index.php?pg=kb.chapter&id=45 these articles explain the process to configure and use remote executors and test automation tools with Test Collab.

In addition to this you can also use the feature rich API that Test Collab offers. The user guide articles having details on how to use API are available at - http://support.testcollab.com/index.php?pg=kb.book&id=6

Thanks and Regards
